Tea Time with HoST – Episode  Eight

Tea time with HoST is a show in which customers and suppliers share their perspectives and contribute to greater clarity. The team at HoST would like to extend a warm welcome to Lemuel Low, the Chief Business Officer from Cosmiqo. Cosmiqo was founded in 2013, and it is an expert in transforming and optimizing Warehouse operations and Robotics and automation. Use of data analytics to improve warehousing and manufacturing supply chains. Second, most systems are generic. Modifying processes and procedures is required. Our platform is system-independent. Robot controllers can handle both human and robot tasks. The first gap is to identify as process and material flow inefficiencies impeding optimal warehouse and manufacturing line performance, causing avoidable operational slowdowns. Then it was because the vast majority of systems available are relatively generic.

This means that any changes to these systems necessitate extensive process modification. The cost was prohibitive compared to the incremental efficiency gained. You all know how invested you are in this space. As a result, robot adoption in Southeast Asia has lagged. This means our platform is compatible with any system. A cross-platform robot controller with AI will address the needs of both human and robot-centric operations.

This platform is called IRIS. Intelligent real-time information system (IRIS). Like the eye, it constantly assesses and monitors warehouse and manufacturing performance, looking for ways to improve processes and contribute to system output optimization. Some jobs, like travel, are better suited to robots than humans. Although tedious and time-consuming, it is a rewarding recessive process. Thus, we believe that humans and robots should complement each other’s strengths, resulting in a more efficient warehouse.
